Default Jean Byron on Maude (Pic Enclosed)

After the Patty Duke Show was canceled, Jean Byron kind of dropped out of sight, so imagine my surprise yesterday while watching Maude, when guess who appeared!!! In the episode, Maude was looking for a new housekeeper, and Jean played an applicant. This was from 1974. Still pretty good looking. She even had the same hairstyle!! Here's a screen cap:

Nice find! Byron apparently didn't do much television after TPDS, unfortunately. Of course, she was in slews of shows before it. Just caught yet another such example, courtesy of Timeless' recent dvd-release of the "State Trooper" tv-series.

Jean Byron played the role of a teacher In Dobie Gillis, I figure that role helped her land the part of Mom on Patty Duke.

Jean can also be seen in the 1952 Jungle Jim feature "Voodoo Tiger". It's been awhile since I've seen the movie, but if I recall she speaks with a British accent.

I noticed her on an episode of Here's Lucy, Lucy Goes Hawaiian, from season 3. This would be 1971.
