Default Joe's Bakery

Those of you who have children who are of "Sesame Street" age might know that the highest number that this show teaches lessons about is forty. When the show first came out forty years ago they stopped at five! I believe that it was sometime in the eighties when they had gone as far as forty. Oh how the times had changed by then much less now! In any event, I am writing about this reality to commemorate the number of views of my thread called "One More Pot". This thread was simply one more attempt to to stimulate some more conversation about this fine show! Other pages that have been almost as slow as this one in the recent past have included Mad About You, Gimme a Break! and Cheers. So far this evening, I have done what I could to stimulate some conversation on all of the above. I would be very interested in what any of you think of any of these posts! In closing, I would just like to let you guys in on what Joe's Bakery is and what it has to do with this post. Those of you who are familiar with the character of Grover know that his main job is at Charlie's Dinner and that he moonlights at just about every employer known to man! There was one skit in which the long suffering Fat Blue went to a place called Joe's Bakery and picked the tag that said that he is the fortith person to be helped. This made no sense since there was no one else in the store! Wanting to live by the letter of the law, Grover insisted on calling all thirty-nine numbers before he got to Fat Blue! If Fat Blue thinks that that is a long wait, he should try starting a thread on this board in general or this page in particular and see how long he has to wait from some responses or even views!
