Sue Lloyd who appeared in an episode of the sitcom "Keeping Up Appearances" has died at age 72.
She appeared in the movie "The Ipcress File" with Michael Caine,60s TV shows like "The Saint","The Baron" and "The Avengers". She was best known to UK viewers as Barbara Hunter in the teatime soap "Crossroads",she starred in it from 1979 to 85,she met her love,Ronald Allen there,they were both axed in 85 and Ronnie died in 1991. RIP. |

I'm not familiar with her work. She was certainly a gorgeous woman; a knockout. I'm guessing she had one of those sexy British accents.

She was also in the late 60's horror flick Corruption with Peter Cushing, which had the great tagline: "Corruption Is Not A Woman's Picture! Therefore: No Woman Will Be Admitted Alone To See This Super-Shock Film!"

I'm surprised no one has mentioned, to me her most famous role, certainly the one I know her by, she played Steve Forrest's trusty assistant in the TV series "The Baron". She would get into trouble, kidnapped, threatened and The Baron would come to the rescue. Great show, reminded me a lot of "The Saint". In fact The Baron was more like The Saint then the awful "Return of The Saint" series from the '70's. Sue Lloyd was a pretty lady and a sight for the eyes! RIP funny lady.
