Question Should Donna Dixon Have Had a Better Acting Career

Instead of simply being known as Mrs. Dan Aykroyd:

Donna Dixon. After Bosom Buddies she was being touted as being the next Marilyn Monroe.

She was gorgeous, talented and well-liked by all who knew and worked with her.

She shocked both her fans and the industry by giving it all up to marry Dan Aykroyd of all people.

You can still see her occasionally when she takes on a bit role on one of her husband's movies.

Yeah Donna Dixon was a nice piece of a$$ and props to Dan Akroyd for tapping that every night, it gives hope for the rest of us schleppy guys.

Well, she was certainly very beautiful but acting wasn't really her forte.

Yeah, you're right, looks can only get you so far. At the end of the day, you have to actually have the chops in order to make it in any form of entertainment.

It's kind of funny that outside of Bosom Buddies, Donna Dixon's most iconic acting role is probably as the hot blonde woman (where virtually all of her acting is to look smoldering for the camera while a wind-machine blows her hair) that Garth was crushing on in the first Wayne's World.
