Default Hufnagels presence in season 6 and Wesley's overall behavior

After watching season 6, I can't help but feel that the Hufnagels' involvement in story lines was greatly reduced compared to their presence in earlier seasons. Also, I also felt that Wesley in general seemed to get into much less trouble than he did in the earlier seasons. Anyone agree or disagree and would like to offer their two cents?

I just saw the series finale today from season 6 and the Huffnagels were mentioned plenty, including one of them appearing onscreen as Belvedere's date.

MARTIN: As usual Martin has to hear about it.

Wait, didn't Mr. Belvedere get married in the series finale? Did he marry a Huffnagel? I can't remember.

To answer your questions, yes, and no. lol...he did get married, but not to a Huffnagel. He married a woman named Louise who worked in the jungles in Africa.

Thanks. I thought I remembered something about him moving overseas and him saying during his journal entry that he might go see the Owens family again someday.

Yes, he hinted at his journals which he left at their house that he might have to pick up someday, and the family found them.

Well, what I actually meant was that Wesley didn't really antagonize the Hufnagels as often as he did in earlier seasons.

He briefly dated a Huffnagel when he didn't think he could handle a commitment with the woman he did marry.

Well also take into account that Wesley was getting older and outgroing from his pranks too.
