The girl I like recently started a relationship with someone else. story of my life, one romantic failure after another. At this point I'll never have a date, let alone a wife. no mention of this on my Facebook wall please, I am friends with her there.

I saw a German Shepherd get hit by a car on my way to work this morning. It was so horrific. I feel so sick about it.

I have been bed ridden for last few days with the flu. I haven't felt this sick in years: body aches, head hurts, fatigue, nausea=HORRIBLE!

I'm so sorry you had to witness something like that, and I'm also sorry I didn't see your post before now.

As sorry as I am that you saw that, I'm heartened to know that there are folks like you that have such empathy for animals as to feel the impact of such an event. Many today, sadly, would not have reacted with such empathy, and would have probably shrugged and went on.

A couple of years ago there was a rabbit hit and killed in front of my home, and kid walking by came upon it. Instead of being revolted or saddened, he casually flipped out his cell phone and took a picture. I couldn't believe it.

A dentist appointment at the end of December showed I need several cavities filled. I had to put it off as I had even more pressing health matters that couldn't be cancelled. I'm going to call the dentist tomorrow. I have a tooth (probably one of the ones that needs to be filled) is bothering me. I hope I won't regret not going in sooner. Praying that I won't hear any of them need a root canal.

Thanks for the response. I pretty much walked into work crying that day. I still feel weird when I drive by that same area every day.

That's terrible about the rabbit. It's scary thinking about the people who are raising these kids.
