Default Why wasn't the rest of the Happy Days cast featured in the animated series

Hey can somebody or anybody explain to me of why wasn't the rest of the cast apart of the Saturday morning series of Fonz and the Happy Days it would of been interested to see how the rest of the cast would have looked in cartoon form

I am not sure, but I think that it had something to do with some of the actors not wanting to do the voice work that would have been involved.

I'm trying to remember who all was in it; and I'm guessing they had Donny Most, Anson Williams, and Henry Winkler. I don't know who did the voice of that girl who had a time machine and didn't have a clue how to use her powers right. My mom thought she was supposed to be Richie's sister Joanie.
Take care and God bless

Perhaps the others didn't want to do it (or the producers didn't want them to) so folks wouldn't think HD itself had become TOO cartoonish. Enjoy the leg of lamb!

They just had Ron Howard, Donny Most, and Henry Winkler. Also Frank Welker voiced Mr. Cool the dog, and Didi Conn voiced Cupcake who was the girl with that time machine. I saw that cartoon when TV Land aired it years ago.
