Default I noticed that Esther became less UGLY as the show went along

Esther was A MONSTER when she first started appearing on the show but by the last season she very pretty. And I'm being serious, that's why the ugly jokes were no longer funny. Anyone agree Esther looked better as the show went along?

No disrespect to Lawanda Page, but she was never a looker.

Well, I guess Aunt Esther was "never a looker", and she had to maintain some sort of "ugly appearance" to keep with her character, but yeah, they (or she) did seem to tone that down in the last couple of years!

Now, in the picture of LaWanda Page in IMDB, perhaps of her with her real hair down at the time she started playing Aunt Esther, she actually had a "babe quotient"!

A large part of her ugliness was her PERSONALITY

I thought she was good looking.
I also thought Nancy kulp,Margaret hamilton (the wizard of oz witch),
Whoopi goldberg were good looking.
I can name some more, but I'm late for an appointment with my eye doctor.

If you search for Lawanda Page on YouTube, you'll see (and sometimes only hear) her doing her stand up comedy act. Listen, I'm no prude, but it's the filthiest thing I've ever heard. And it's just filth for filth's sake, with little funny about it. Everyone won't agree with me, of course ... maybe she'll have you busting a gut. But that was one nasty lady.

Margaret Hamilton was not much of a looker, but she had a killer bod! Anyone ever notice that or is it just my infatuation with witches!?
