I am most happy about "Cannon", "Barnaby Jones", "Hotel", "Angie" and "Evening Shade." But like Kasey said I am waiting for them to be dirt-cheap like their previous "Cagney and Lacey", "Mod Squad" and "McMillan and Wife" sets.

I'm hoping we hear something soon about the "Evening Shade" set.

However, I think it's never a good idea (when it comes to VEI) to take the release date literal. They never set the dates correctly.

Pretty much. The rescheduled March 18th date for the Sister Sister set has come and gone and Amazon still hasn't shipped it to me yet! My order is still saying they still can't give me a shipping/arrival date estimate but will update it once they do. I'm not real impressed or happy with VEI right now. I'm only leaving my pre order there a little longer because hopefully it will finally ship soon. Otherwise I'll have to try ordering it from VEI themselves. I'm pretty disappointed with the whole situation.

If A Different World sees DVD release I hope to God it's not from VEI. That's a way bigger show than Sister Sister in a lot of ways so that show has to come from a publisher who can afford the music clearance costs that will meet the set release date. I've seen half of Season 1 on Netflix but hesitating on continuing since I'm waiting to see if anyone will step forward and do a complete series DVD set. But Netflix pulls stuff a lot so in that shows case it's almost can't win damned if you watch it now damned if you don't and wait.

A Different World is also available on Hulu.

bh7812, do you get TV One? They air "A Different World". It's not an official set but I managed to record a complete series set from that channel.

My "Grace Under Fire" set was constantly delayed. It finally arrived a month or so later than it was announced.

I'm thankful it was released but they seriously need to get it together with their dates.

Unfortunately no TV One here in Chicago yet. Stations here are either in the process of adding a lot of sub channels in right now or are about to very shortly so I'd expect to see it here sooner rather than later.

I got Grace Under Fire a while after it released for a good price on Amazon. Looks like VEI didn't do terribly well with the release date for that either. I agree if they're going to start bringing out all these shows they've really got to get it together with their release dates. I'm interested in Evening Shade too which is another upcoming release from them but as of right now that one is a very big we'll see with the current job they're doing on their release dates.

I honestly wouldn't be shocked to see me Sister Sister set just suddenly show up on my doorstep one day They'll ship it eventually, it's just a question of when.

^ TV One is not an OTA channel like Antenna TV or MeTV. It's a paid cable channel.

I haven't myself bought any of VEI's sets. I want to get their "Kate & Allie" set. I've never seen "Grace Under Fire" or "Sister, Sister" so I'm not too sure if I'd enjoy them. But I'm certainly looking forward to "Evening Shade"!

They seem like an up and coming company, I hope they could release other gems, The Hogan Family, Head of the Class, etc.

My most wanted shows from VEI since they obviously get shows from CBS/Paramount would be "Love, American Style", "The Love Boat" and "My Three Sons". Not sure about any others.

Got an email this morning saying estimated delivery for my Sister Sister Complete Series set will be this coming Tuesday or Wednesday, April 5th or 6th! It hasn't actually shipped yet-I chose 1 day shipping thinking I'd have it today, the release date but oh well. Looks like I'll for sure have it next week! I'll be damned..looks like they actually finally made it this time with the release date. Three delays later and it looks like it finally released today. And I just spent 80 dollars on the PlayStation store on Tuesday too thinking sure this set would be delayed again urghhh. Figures, I should have known the week I did that it'd finally release! It's not a big deal.

Anyway I wanted to update everyone that it seems like Sister Sister finally made it out on the third set release date. Watch now I'll get a set with all the discs but they'll all be blank discs with nothing on them hahaha.

Definitely, that won't be a problem. I'll post them as soon as it comes in next week! I'm half expecting that email this morning to be some nasty April fool's joke but it came from Amazon themselves so I'll hope it's no joke!

I'm sorry it's taken forever to get back to this! I really did finally get my Sister Sister set from Amazon!! I did take pictures of the box and stuff, all ready to post them! What photo sharing site works best with this forum for showing pics? I'll throw them up on whatever one works best with sitcoms online.

I apologize, I've had a really hard two weeks dealing with some personal crap. I didn't forget about this and want to get the pics up while I'm thinking of it!
