I know the feeling. I am one of the youngest ones in a lot of the shows I attend. The good thing is that the audience will be respectful and won't do anything to interrupt the show.

A few of my friends and I are doing one of those "challenge quests" this weekend and I bought my ticket.

At this particular one, you choose betw. 5 rooms and you all have 1 hour to use the various clues and puzzles inside to get out.

You can choose The Abandoned Laboratory, Art Gallery, Prison Escape, Forest Cabin and Hotel Room. We all agreed on the Hotel Room.

^ This was really fun, even though my friends and I lost at it.

In the hotel room scenario, we were told a small backstory that our car broke down in the desert and we came across this small motel. There was nobody else around and the clerk seemed very shady. He leads us all into an empty motel room and when we realize we don't have a room key he quickly locks us all in and it's our job to get out in 1 hour.

We had to look in the dresser drawers, magazines, books, closets, ... for clues. There were notes hidden around the room leading us to the combinations for keypad safes and finding keys to open up locked drawers. We also found night-vision goggles and a small infrared flashlight to find hidden messages.

We made it to the last safe that held the key to get out, but our time was up and then the employee came in and explained all of the clues and what we missed along the way.

How did the hair color turn out? The last time I tried to lighten mine it turned out a brassy red instead of a lighter brown.

Bought this DVD at Walmart to save for my son's birthday in October. We both like horror movies so I get to enjoy it too.

I had small deliveries from Amazon last week. That's how it works with their Prime plan. I had a two-pack of toothbrushes wrapped in plastic and a big container. It was actually funny. The next day the toothpaste came.

This week, I'm waiting for six cases of Fancy Feast and a bag of Iams, then some Fall PJ type stuff to hang around in. I just love online shopping.

A 7-book set of Perry Mason novels (7 in one book)

Nightline: History in the Making and the Making of Television by Ted Koppel and Kyle Gibson

We just got back from Best Buy, and bought a computer for my husband. It's an Envy All-In-One, with a 23" screen. I bought myself the same thing last year.

I know it's not exactly a purchase, per-se, but I paid the lady who comes to clean once a month.
