2012 Toy Fair: "The Walking Dead" Season 2 Toys Are Coming

Well, it seems we've got a new tradition to look forward to with everyone's favorite zombie TV show. When "The Walking Dead" season 2 premiered last year we saw the release of action figures both based on the comic book and the television series.

Over at Toy Fair, Mcfarlane has released a tease of what we can expect from the next wave of "Walking Dead" TV show toys, take a look.

McFarlane Reveals "The Walking Dead" Assortment

Slated to hit store shelves in October 2012, Figures reports that the assortment will star:

Rick Grimes 2:

The small-town sheriff’s turned-hero and leader of the survivors during the zombie apocalypse, Rick continues to struggle with his moral convictions in season two.

Rick will be featured as a brand-new sculpt in his civilian attire, prevalent in season two.

Shane Walsh:

Rick’s partner and loyal friend has become the antagonist of season two.

Shane will be featured in tactical attire with his newly buzzed haircut.

Bicycle Girl Zombie:

The maimed zombie girl shown crawling next to her bicycle in a park turned out to be one of the most iconic zombies from season one.

She is also the first zombie Deputy Rick Grimes encountered in the season one opener.

Well Zombie:

A rotten, bloated zombie surprise resting at the bottom of Hershel’s water well that the survivors eventually attempt to hoist out by using Glen as bait.

This is by far one of the sickest looking zombies seen yet on the series, and our figure is one dead on, stomach-churning replica.

RV Zombie:

During the opening scene of season two, one of the most intense scenes happens as a mob of flesh-eating zombies swarm the group. Unaware of the flesh-eating zombie onslaught, Andrea becomes trapped in the recreational vehicle when one climbs aboard.

Under attack from this “RV” Zombie, Andrea fights back, stabbing the zombie in the eyeball with a screwdriver.

Each human figure includes multiple interchangeable accessories and several points of articulation for limitless playability and customization. Each zombie figure features unique, gory play action.

Figures are expected to sell for around $12.99 to $14.99 at stores nationwide.

It’s toy madness that begins with your first ever look at the second season of McFarlane Toys’ “The Walking Dead” line, courtesy of BigBadToyStore.

In stores this October, the set of 5 included: Shane Walsh, Rick Grimes 2, Bicycle Girl Zombie, Well Zombie and RV Zombie from the hit AMC series.
