Answer the phone and say this

"Thank you for calling Taco bell..... Pat May I help you??"

Usually they fall for it thinking they have the wrong # and dont call back! (Its worked 2 times I have tried it (Only tried it 2 so far))

Why do they not make tuna with the flip top cans?? Almost every food that comes in cans these days has the flip top . With tuna you still need a can opener, and it's a pain in the butt! Tuna cans are small and it is even more difficult to open them than larger cans. If you don't have an electric can opener, the manual ones skip spots and it's a pain, than if you try to just pull the top off you run the risk of getting cut. The sides of the can are so sharp!!!

I made tuna casserole tonight and that is why this is my complaint!

Have you tried tuna in a pouch? It's easier to open and there's no draining required like with the can.

Thanks Jenny. That's an idea. But is there enough in a pouch for tuna casserole? I always thought the pouch was more for an individual sandwich or two. I could always buy a couple pouches though. Better than worrying about cutting my hand! I'll look into it!

I didn't think of that. Yes, the pouches have enough for one big sandwich or two regular sandwiches. There may be a family size pouch. Starkist and Bumblebee are the brands I get. I haven't used them for casseroles or anything like that.

Solicitors on the phone!

They ask if I'm interested in something and even when I say "no, get me on your don't call list"...they'll STILL call me!

How about when they call YOU, you answer the phone and they say nothing. I say, Hello? Hello? and nothing. So I just hang up.

Yeah that is a new employee on an automatic dialer. They didn't realize the person answered the phone already!

Or it could be an automated message that didn't start playing yet.

I work way too much... And I have a blister on my 4th toe next to my pinkie toe. Ye gods, it hurts! I hate the holidays.

Got the surprise of my life the other day upon returning home from work. Saw I had a message, hit the "play" button, and heard..."Hi, this is President Barack Obama!..."! I was like, "the heck it is!" Yep, it was a robocall to get out the vote on Election Day. I can imagine a lot of folks supposed he was calling "just" them to encourage them to vote. Crazy days we live in.
