Default The Golden Girls house

A fan recently found the house used for all the exterior shots on the show. A replica of the house was built at MGM studios in Orlando Florida when the show was still on the air. (I saw it in 1989). But the real house is actually in California.

Blanche's house is located at 245 N Saltair Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90049. Itís just west of the 405 and just north of Sunset Blvd.

When you check out the location on Google Street view, the house is easy to miss from the street because of all the plant and tree growth.

I wonder what the inside of the house actually looked like?

Did anybody else hear the Golden Girl music when looking at that picture?

Very interesting but at the same time it's like finding out there is no Santa. I could always picture that house in Miami.
