I just watched this segment last night for the first time. Can anyone provide a timeline of events or even a link to something? Why were the charges against the man whose property they were found on dismissed? Is Chad in jail? What happened to the little boy?

I still can't believe that Chad wasn't charged with anything. He couldn't have NOT known what was going to happen that day! He should have at least been charged with accessory before the fact, or conspiracy, or something!

From what I found, this guy (Grover) cooperated with police. The bodies were in his cistern but he allegedly didn't know. Once he suspected it, he cooperated with police.

The picture of the bodies when they were found is... disturbing, to say the least.

I can tell you right now after reading this article about Chad testifying against his mother and grandmother that he knew what went down and there was plea deal. If he testified against them he would not be charged.

Thanks for this!

I knew Chad was guilty (of something) when he said he may have confessed to the murders in a drunken stupor. Uh, no. I don't care how drunk you are. No one is ever drunk enough to confess to a murder they didn't commit.

This was way more disturbing than I thought. Stabbed multiple times, then shot? That's sadistic. They wanted Wendy to suffer. Nasty, evil people. And the innocent sister-in-law and child. How twisted!!!

I saw the pic of the skeletal remains. Its eerie to see the clothes were basically the same in the segment.

I thought the same thing. Also, why did the bodies break down faster than the clothes? You'd think fabric would deteriorate quickly as well.

Thanks for finding this and passing it along. A lot of good, albeit sad, information is in this article.

Apparently Wendy was stabbed multiple times.
