The Brady Bunch neighbors are already fearing HGTV's expansion plans
The Studio City block where the iconic home is located is expected to be overrun by construction workers and reality TV cameras following the sale of the house to HGTV for $3.5 million.

Lance Bass officially joins HGTV's Brady Bunch house reality show after losing bid to buy the iconic house

Bass will serve as a producer on the untitled Brady Bunch home renovation show. “The fans came to my rescue. They saw how hosed I got,” he tells People, referring to losing the bidding war to HGTV. “They forced HGTV’s hand to get me involved.

Now this would have been very cool:

I wonder if that's HGTV's plan as well?

"The Brady Bunch" Kids Reunite for HGTV Renovation of Real-Life Brady House
by Dave Nemetz
November 1, 2018

Here’s the story of a TV renovation we can’t wait to see: The original "Brady kids" came together to help HGTV launch a new series that aims to fix up the real-life Brady Bunch house.

The series, "A Very Brady Renovation", will see HGTV stars like Jonathan and Drew Scott (Property Brothers) and Lara Spencer (Flea Market Flip) fix up the Los Angeles house that served as the exterior of the Bradys’ TV home during the beloved show’s 1969-74 run on CBS.

The renovators will give the property “a ’70s-inspired rehab” that adds 2,000 square feet to the original footprint while maintaining the iconic street view and recreating the show’s kitschy interior design.

All six Brady kids — Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy) — joined the renovators on Thursday for a walk-through of the property, marking the first time all six actors had been together in nearly 15 years.

(Their TV parents Robert Reed and Florence Henderson have both passed away, as has Ann B. Davis, who played housemaid Alice.)

HGTV promises “additional surprise celebrity guests” when "A Very Brady Renovation" makes its debut in September 2019.

(Davy Jones is no longer with us, unfortunately… but maybe Joe Namath is available?)

Sure is. I didn’t think I’d see them together again. Did they bury the hatchet? Or did money talk?

We are all getting older, but this is the first time I have seen any of the cast members with gray hair! It was surprising to see all of the three males with gray hair.

It was a feud I believe that had something to do with Maureen's book.

They probably did bury the hatchet, but I won’t be surprised if it’s for the money.

I totally agree! I wasn't sure we'd ever see them together again. How cool that the restoration of the "Brady House" could bring them together!

All the gray hair is kinda shocking, but of course, they are all much older than the last time we got a full Brady reunion of any kind.
