Default RIP Frank Cady

Thanks to Mr. Cady for all the great laughs he gave us-- oh to have Sam Drucker's patience when dealing with Uncle Joe, the Monroe brothers, Eb, Mr. Kimball and Mr. Haney! 96 years old! You can't ask much more out of life than that, but it is still sad to have to say goodbye to another old friend. Seems like all of them are leaving us or already gone.

I never noticed this when I first saw the episode, but when MeTV reran The Danny Thomas Show episode that introduced Andy Taylor today, I saw that Frank Cady originally played the town drunk, not named Otis Campbell then. Today's show, meant as a tribute to Andy Griffith, also provided another nice tribute to Frank Cady.
