Ben Shenkman Joins "Royal Pains"
"Royal Pains" Exclusive: Meet Dr. Hank's Replacement!
Mar 23, 2012 by Kate Stanhope There's a new doctor in the house: Ben Shenkman has joined "Royal Pains" as HankMed's newest hire, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. When the USA medical drama wrapped its third season in February, Hank (Mark Feuerstein) quit the family business after he and Evan (Paulo Costanzo) disagreed over a possible expansion. Shenkman, who is set to appear in four episodes, will play HankMed's new employee, Dr. Jeremiah Sacani. Although he has a top-notch resume and a brilliant mind for science, Jeremiah has a serious lack of the social skills required for concierge medicine. Does this mean Evan might come crawling back to Hank? It's also unclear what Dr. Sacani's hire means for Hamptons Heritage M.D. Paul Van Dyke (Kyle Howard), who Evan approached in the Season 3 finale after Hank's departure. http://www.tvguide.com/News/Royal-Pa...n-1045216.aspx |
