Well the past few days it was really sunny and pretty nice outside but yesterday it turned cloudy with a little rain. Hoping the sun comes back soon!

This afternoon all SOers in the southeast Missouri, southern Illinois (where I live), central Illinois, western and central Kentucky, western Tennessee, northeastern Arkansas, and southern and central Indiana areas need to be under alert... you are all under a "high risk" for severe weather...

We've got the same alerts/warnings for our area in Tennessee. Right now it's hot, humid & windy.

Between 5 and 5:30 I went to the library and then the carryout near it. It started to rain heavily when I was in the library, and I had to wait ten minutes before the rain let up a little so I could walk home.

Well that wasn't much of a storm in my area... other than a lot of heavy wind, rain, and the power going off a couple of times there wasn't any real damage in my tow. However some people down in SEMO, around Elsinore, Missouri weren't so lucky, a few homes were destroyed by a small tornado. And there was reportedly 3.5-4.5 inch diameter hail in St. Louis.

Tornado warning in my area. My sister just called me from the next town over and they're having heavy winds and golfball size hail.

Edit: The lights are starting to flicker. : I was just outside. It isn't raining yet but the winds have picked up and it's getting black outside.

It's raining right now, but nothing like yesterday's storms.

It's still raining but nothing like it was. My town made out. We only got the back end of the storm. There were funnel clouds all over the county this evening. A man was hit by a falling tree, a couple towns over. A few people on the news mentioned they had seen tornados but nothing's been confirmed yet.
