I-69 heads east from there to Port Huron, although you're going north. At Port Huron it meets I-94, which runs northward from Detroit, although you're going east. Well, how do you figure that one out?

With I-69 at least, the signage does reflect the changing of direction between the different stretches (after connecting with I-96 for a few miles in Lansing). The Detroit-Port Huron stretch of I-94 is still E/W according to signage.

i-69 runs east and west right through my town. Swartz Creek, MI. I-75 is just 5 miles west of my house. In fact 75 intersects with US 23 near here and then up the highway a couple of miles 75 and 69 intersect. It's very convenient for us!
