Default No good reason, so any excuse is bad...

Petticoat Junction seasons four and after, Beverly Hillbillies seasons five and after, and The Donna Reed Show seasons six and after. It really rile me to go into a DVD store/section and see NOTHING but DRECK that I would have to be PAID to haul away.

I agree with ALL of this.

I've come to notice that most, if not all, of the DVD selection at my local Walmart is either children's movies or HBO trash.

It's the same thing where I live. I use to spend a lot of time checking out and buying DVDs, but now there isn't much for me out there.

I've had a somewhat better selection lately-- quite a few of the series that I grew up with (Airwolf, Knight Rider, Miami Vice, etc. [granted, they're the Mill Creek versions, but still...]), and several seemingly attractive Paramount/CBS series of the past (The Twilight Zone, original-recipe 1966-69 NBC Star Trek, etc.).
