I can sympathize! I just started a summer course myself...way too much work and very little time to do it all. Good luck!

lol same here.. sometimes I just feel too self-absorbed in my own problems and fail to see everyone elses. So I'm sorry, you guys!

Anyways, Sonny, I really hope your back feels better soon! I know a bit about that. I've had lower back problems throughout my life, and last year around this time, I pinched a nerve in my lower back and couldn't walk for 3 days, it was so painful! So, I really hope you feel better, us "bad back people" gotta pray for each other, ya know?

And Mike, I'm really sorry to hear about your problems too. About that so-called "friend" of yours, if she doesn't return your calls or show basic levels of respect, then she isn't worthy of your friendship IMO.
And about being turned down... well, it happens to the best of us, I've kind of given up on trying for a job right now. No one in my family is working right now... so we're definitely saving the money we have.

I swear that the better you are to some people, the more they treat you like a chump. Not you, but you know what I mean. Have I said this today? People suck. That felt good, lol.

Thanks, Janice.

I was very relieved! Seemed like I'd been in school for 50 years.

I know what that feels like. I felt like I was in school forever. I started at age 3 in 1981 and finished when I was 26 in December 2004. If I remember correctly I think I even made a thread here on CC or had a thread about graduating from college.

I am really annoyed! People keep shooting off fireworks. I like the 4th of July as well as the next guy...but it is on Saturday, not today. Plus it is after midnight and every dog in the neighborhood is barking like crazy because of the noise. I am tired and want to go to sleep.

When did I become the grumpy old lady in the neighborhood ?

It's a graduate course: Educational Leadership and Management of Change.

Translation: How to be in charge, turn everyone's world upside down, and convince them you were right to do it.

Sounds exciting doesn't it?

Ugh!!! .. they started here Sunday night! Not only were all of the dogs around barking, but mine was too and wouldn't go out to the bathroom....so I wound up having to take her out at 3am I hate fireworks! I don't mind them so bad if they're at a professional showing, just not in people's yard.

Wow, Billie! I wouldn't have understood it without your translation!
Sounds like a blast.
