Had an early birthday celebration for me yesterday since my daughter won't be home on my actual birthday.

She surprised me with this clay sculpture she made for me, it's the character Sam from the 2007 horror anthology Trick r Treat.

This is from during the sculpting stage...

She also got me 4 horror/exploitation drink coasters...

(Videodrome, Savage Streets, Street Trash, Hausu)

Torgo, your daughter should consider a Etsy page or something like that. She is really talented and could make some $ by selling online.

I have a copy of the Creepshow comic book. I've never really been a big fan of horror comics, but somebody gave it to me as a birthday gift years ago, and from what I've read it has been quite the collector's item for a long time.

Anyway, here's a four-axle cattle trailer that I swiped from a Google Street View scan of a road in Mitchell, South Dakota. Too bad that last axle is a tag axle. And this was my 3800th post.

I love horror comics. I prefer them over any of the super hero stuff. I have that Creepshow too.

No, this is not George Burns wearing Groucho glasses in the original Going In Style! This is Abolhassan Banisadr, the first president of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
