Even if that is so, as the other poster pointed out, all of the remaining lifetime segments isnt enough for a full season. And I named 2 segments likely to be excluded. So I have a hard time believing there wont be 'filler' from prior seasons.

Best we can do is hassle them for segments that shouldnt have legal problems to be squeezed in. Olberholtzer is one, there were some excluded like Aimee Willard I didnt get either. With Mark Groezinger, I suspect it is because they basically (correctly, IMO) accuse his widow of murder - though oddly it aired in the Farina episodes. Mike Reimer would have to have a lengthy update about developments, but it seems doable

I suspect the Aimee Willard one has to do with the segment casting suspicion on three men who had nothing to do with her murder at all.

I have no idea why Amazon excluded the William L. Toomey segment, considering the man has yet to be identified.

I'm confused.

So, season 12 will be the last?

They sure did a hatchet job on the Amber Swartz segment. They cut out Tim Binder's light-switch moment about "now we're looking for a dead body", that he would call Amber's mother and gave her a copy of Crime and Punishment, and the part about the witness that saw him without a beard grabbing a kid on the side of the road.

Given how repetitive the Stack updates are now (in the original segment and then many episodes later) if they cut it to fit the Ortiz update in then that's just dumb.

If they tried to trim it to go easy on Binder, given they probably now know her killer, then why is it here at all when Aimee Willard isn't? And why not omit the attempt to tie it to Michaela Garecht, considering the kidnapper clearly bore no resemblance to Tim Binder? (muscular, long blonde hair)

Surprised the Rufino Castaneda segment made it to Prime. That one scared the hell out of me as a kid, and I also remember other crime shows (one of them America's Most Wanted) airing the case. Glad they caught the scumbag!

I haven't gotten through season 12 yet, just finishing with season 11 so please forgive this question if this is included in season 12.

By any chance, is the Robert Stack memorial segment included? I might be mis-remembering, but I seem to recall Stack's widow on Lifetime giving a mini eulogy of her husband, talking about how much he cherished the experience of UM and how much love he got from the fans.

Did this exist or am I losing my mind? LOL

Thanks!

I believe that there was something similar on one of the DVD sets. Could that be what you are remembering?

I own all of the original sets, but haven't watched them in years (still in storage since I moved and I need to get them at some point).

I don't recall if the eulogy was on the sets or not, but I do remember seeing it. I just can't remember if it was on Lifetime or the DVDs.

You're correct. It's called "A Tribute to Robert Stack."

There are a surprising number of really good segments in this final season.

EAR/ONS
Sneha Anne Philip
Darlie Routier

Those three are all probably top 25 UM segments IMO.

The Black Hope Curse and Boston Strangler bits are also both extremely well produced and enjoyable to watch. There are also a good number of underrated Unexplained Death/Murder segments as well. This is the best post-NBC season for sure.

Now, if we could get a 13th season comprised of some of the best segments that were omitted I would be 100% satisfied with this release. As it stands, Iím about 80% satisfied which is more than I initially expected to be.

So if we aren't getting anymore seasons, the Mishawaka Rapist segment isn't on Amazon? I was really hoping to finally see this one.
