Thumbs up

A new tire for my motor scooter (The old one went flat). -Fortunately when the scooter's tire failed the man behind me was one works on repairing motorcycles so we rode into town and got a new tire, within a 1/2 hour my scooter was fixed, saving me about $150 in towing and labor changes. PRAISE THE LORD!!!

I ordered a couple of ebooks for my tablet from Amazon. One is called Sick House by Jeff Strand. I haven't started reading it yet since I'm in the middle of another ebook.

Haven't read this one but I like a lot of Jeff Strand's stuff, his Andrew Mayhem series is fun. Also like Dweller. And his The Haunted Forest Tour is one of the most entertaining books I've read in awhile, sort of a Jurassic Park with monsters.

I saw The Haunted Forest Tour listed and thought about ordering it but didn't. If we still had a used book store around here, I would have gotten it there and I'd only have been out a buck or two, just in case I didn't like it.

Yeah, when it's a blind buy and an ebook I'm a little cheap, $2.99 not too bad for an ebook, wow the paper back version is $13! For me if the ebook is over $7, and a physical book is cheaper, I'll get that.

I bought a couple of books at Barnes & Noble in Bowling Green when we visited my husband's aunt. I had a coupon for them so it wasn't too expensive.
