DYK . . that there are SQUARE watermelons? Square watermelons are watermelons grown inside of a cube. The practice of growing cube watermelons is popular in Japan, and is generally intended for space efficiency in small refrigerators. Growing the watermelons is labor intensive, making them very expensive and therefore, are sold more as an ornamental novelty. The cost ranges from $75 to $200, apiece.

DYK . . that Barbara Bush was the SECOND first lady, to be the wife and mother of a US president. The FIRST was Abigail Adams (1797-1801), wife of the second president John Adams, and, mother of John Quincy Adams, the sixth President of the United States.

Slovenia-born Melania Trump, was the second, First Lady of the United States to be born outside of the United States. London-born Louisa Adams, wife, of sixth U.S. president John Quincy Adams, was the first.
