![]() At this stage in the game, this website is the only one that I am able to post messages on. In the past, I was able to comment on You Tube videos and post messages on various other sites. However, it seems that every site other than this one keeps adding more and more red tape for users to go through in order to post messages. This is clearly a result of all of the corruption and dishonesty that is all around us. As the people who steal others peoples' identity and do all sorts of other terrible things come up with more and more advanced ways of getting the job done, the people who are in charge of protecting the honest world need to get smarter and smarter in their job. It is all a question of survival of the fittest. In any event, because of my disability and because of how little training I have had in this type of technology, I have long since given up on jumping through the hoops that I would have to jump through to be able to post on other sites. In any event, shortly before I came here, I was over on another site that has a "Gimme a Break!" page. Somebody had posted a new message eight hours before I had arrived. You see, a while back, somebody had started a thread about various attempts at spin-offs of "Gimme a Break!". I have read and heard quite a bit about a bunch of attempts at spin-off of "Gimme a Break!" that never materialized. Several people (including the person who got there eight hours before me) have compared this situation to attempts at spin-offs of the "Facts of Life". One thing that I think is pretty clear is that fact that "Gimme a Break!" and "Facts of Life" were very similar types of Generation X TV. In this particular reply, somebody wrote about an episode from the 9th and last season called "Big Apple Blues". This episode was an attempt at a spin-off about the character of Natalie taking an apartment in New York with four very unusual people from four very different backgrounds. It was explained to Natalie that the four people looked at each other as bill paying organisms! I remember this episode quite vividly. This particular poster wrote about how David Spade was in this episode. He was a doctor who was going through the stress of having lost his first patient. The thing about this episode that sticks out in my mind is that Natalie's purse was stolen. Would anyone else here like to offer any memories of this episode of anything else that I have mentioned in this thread?
