If it's not a stupid question, TVDVD Fan, are you working on writing any of these?

I'm a new poster, joining the club who thinks a happier ending was in order for Rose and Miles. I even like that you bring back his "shady" past.

I know that flashback-sequence episodes tend to be weak, to seem like they haven't bothered to write an episode. But I could see "The Commitment" working in flashbacks of Rose-Miles episodes from the original series, either as part of the conversation between Rose and Miles about their history and future, or even in conversation among Blanche, Dorothy, and Sophia about how they've seen the relationship progressed, and in some ways, helped, or tried to.

And then there's another possible complication for the wedding: remember that Rose says at one point that weddings get her "hot" (though she also goes to many others throughout the series without having that problem.) Suppose that after her own wedding ceremony, she drags Miles off to some alcove or hotel room, and the other ladies have to cover for them at the reception. Lots of room for GG-esque innuendo. Example:

Guest: Where are Rose and Miles?
Blanche: They should be 'coming' any minute now.

(the three are discussing what to do)
Dorothy: Maybe we should take the bull by the horns.
Sophia: Isn't that what Rose is doing?
Blanche: Well, not by the horns exactly.

But on a more serious note, while the whole thing is embarrassing for Dorothy and Sophia, for Blanche it is something more. Despite having previously urged Rose, before the wedding, to just ride with her feelings, actually witnessing it happening leaves her feeling insecure and envious of Rose for actually engaging in the behavior that she (Blanche) mostly talks about, and because some women guests envy Rose for having snagged Miles.

JL82, thank you for your input. I haven't been working on making these into full-fleshed episodes to be honest, as that would likely be very time-consuming. I usually just like to make these little snippets and create a broader timeline that basically just serves a fun purpose. Just seeing what happens to the main characters after production wraps in real life is fun for me. If you'd like, however, we could work on some full scripts, just tell me which ones you'd like to see a full script on and we could work something out. Once again, thanks for your interest!

I totally understand about the time-consumption. It tends to come to me in bits and pieces too. As I read through your episode guide, though, I visualized certain snippets, and tried to visualize others. (Like, what would be the answer to the dream about the ape?)

Hey, shouldn't an episode about Rose contemplating re-marriage be called "Rose by Any Other Name"?

She just dreams that Miles is a big, hairy ape and she wants to know why she's dreaming that. The solution would probably be something like she feels he is sometimes too overbearing and primitive, and they would probably talk about it and everyone would be happy by the end of it. LOL Good suggestion about Rose By Any Other Name! I'll work on these more over the summer.
