Actress Annie Potts let-slip a secret that until know wasn't exactly well-kept, Gen-TV has apparently cancelled the christian-themed satire comedy "GCB" which they saved from cancellation after ABC dumped it earlier this year. She tweeted on her official twitter page "Out of work again, Gen-TV cancels GCB". Although not a shock, since the series was left-off of the networks January schedule, some critics who loved the show held out hope that it would return in the future for another short-run, the currently airing season was compiled of 13 episodes.
Since moving over to Gen-TV the series has averaged only 8.3 million viewers, down a whopping 25% from it's ABC average of 20.1 million viewers.

YTN PRESS RELEASE:
For the first time in network history, YTN will air an all new Halloween special. In the special, SCARE YOUR SOCKS OFF, ordinary people will be scared by professionals, who have been hired by their best friends to get revenge. Eva Vargas, President of YTN, says, "This is a great special to air on Halloween in an hour that usually does not have much going on. We hope this eventually becomes an annual event, and perhaps in the future, a family-friendly version is able to air earlier in the day." SCARE YOUR SOCKS OFF will air on Wednesday, October 31st at 11/10c, following an all new episode of a Halloween-themed, Call Girls. |
