I hope Not. Damm this was a unwatchable show. I'm just wondering how the show finished behind Laverne & Shirley, Three's Company,Happy Days, and Mork and Mindy after the 1978-79 season as the #5 Tv Show

I doubt it. It was on for two seasons and didn't really resonate. Even Hello Larry, which only lasted two seasons, at least had infamy going for it.

You have to be really great or really bad and Angie was neither.

I do remember watching it when it was on - I pretty much watched anything and everything back then. It wasn't a bad show - it seemed like they were trying to cash in on Donna Pescow's notoriety from being in Saturday Night Fever. I remember the theme song was one of those groovy seventies theme songs, with hippy-dippy lyrics like "let the rose flower."

Only in the seventies...

I liked the show. The first season was much better then the second though.

The only thing was the theme song. Why was the 1st season much better?

Default I really hope this show does get a DVD release myself

I watched Angie during it's original run. I was an avid, loyal fan & loved the plot & thought it was a highly entertaining sitcom. One episode that still comes to mind is the episode when The Falcos & The Bensons compete on Family Feud . Back in those days we didn't have VCR's so I grabbed a cassette & taped the episode on my recorder to play it back when I needed something light & funny to listen to. Grandma Falco was priceless. I especially loved the part when she took & gave Richard Dawson a big hug & said, "Ricardo Dawson, I luva you"! It was so cute & a golden moment from the many good episodes & moments from the series.

I have longed to see this show again for years, especially now, since it's the age of this new video technology we'd stand a chance of possibly seeing this happen. It'd be a welcome addition to my collection. I had a crush on Robert Hays back when this was running & still find him incredibly attractive. The Falcos were close-knit & banned together, I liked the sense of family also about this show. I was sorry to see the show get cancelled, it didn't deserve to end so soon, & had a great cast with remarkable chemistry.

If there happen to be any other fans of this show viewing this board or post, please cast your vote on the http://tvshowsondvd.com site. Gradually some of the more obscure titles are becoming available, so there is a chance, but the more people who show their support & interest the better.

This show actually ran a season & a half I believe & was in fact popular in it's day (it's having made the top 5 list in the ratings during it's brief run should speak for itself). I was there in 1979/80, I should know!

I also watched Angie,I was Sr in high school back then,I watched it only for Donna Pescow,I had such a crush on her,she is the only celeb that I collect pics, mags articles etc....

She was so cute, and I think with all the campy-ness about the show it was not so bad as somefolks say,but I do agree with the changes in the second season where not needed,That Mary,Mary,Mary stuff was hard to swallow.

Did you know that Mrs. Pescow was in the stage production of Grease in Long Beach in 1983,she played Rizzo, evidently she can sing also.I have a rare program from the show she was in it with Belinda Carlise,Barry Williams and Casey Kasem.Wierd but true.

I didn't know she had been in the stage production of Grease, but am not surprised, she's a talented actress & very pretty. I can see her in the part of Rizzo because Donna looks Italian (but the initial *W* may indicate otherwise). She has beautiful eyes & a bubbly personality which is another reason she's so likable.

Default If VIACOM thought....

...there was an audience for "ANGIE" on DVD, they would have released it by now. Perhaps when they're "clearing out their inventory", someone at Parmount Home Video will say, "Hey, how about THIS?"......and get pelted by
spitballs and paper clips.....who knows?
