When ABC started airing the show around 1985(and my local Boston station was doing the same) I video taped them all! I had a huge crush on Robert Hays. Anyway, I thought the show was cute and funny. I enjoyed Donna Pescow as Angie, a hard working Italian American who was a waitress. SHe fell for Brad whom she thought was a poor doctor. Turns out he was a millionaire's son but down to earth. They decided not to rely on riches but their love. Doris Roberts was the best as Angie's mom. Her husband went out for cigarettes and never returned but she still set a place at the table. She wasn't anything like her "Marie" character in Everybody Loves Raymond. I think one of the best eps was when they were all on Family Feud. Above, someone posted the cast on the REAL game show but they also did an episode where the plot was about the Bensons and Falcos being on the show. THe Falcos had their aunt who didn't speak ENglish and Mrs. Falco had to translate, especially in the lightening round. So funny. WHY Can't this show be on DVD!!! I just read "Flo" was put on DVD and, while I remember that show(I was probably 6 at the time, I watched too much tv as a kid) I know it didn't last as long as Angie. Angie was the creation of Gary Marshall, Penny's brother. This was one of his "misses." Along with Who's Minding The Kids, Blanskys' BEauties and Me and the Chimp which Pearl Harbored Ted Bessell's acting career.

I'm sorry but I don't think anyone can take your comments seriously about a show you watched when you were 4 years old lol

I didn't understand how a show could have so many viewers because it followed a hit show but when the show is moved then they have no viewers

People left the tube on after the hit show and watched the one behind it. The shows went hand in hand. It was moved to another night and changed the format of the show.
