Ok, apparently BET is only airing ADW on Thursdays and Fridays. When and why did this change occur? It doesn't reflect this on their website, the last time I looked. I never got a response from BET when I emailed them. Did Pav post anything regarding this change? And why does BET continue to air promos stating ADW airs Monday-Friday at midnight when it doesn't? I am so disgusted with this crap.

Yeah he made a post about the change I believe he made it on the DS board. I remember he said that the change in the schedule was due to the BET awards and that things will go back to normal once the hype dies down.

am i the only one noticing that they have been airing the same few episodes several times a week? I must have seen the episode where dwayne and whitley spend the night together and byron finds out like three times this past week. Also, are they airing the episodes in order of out of order?

Yeah they are showing them out of order, and they are also skipping episodes. I'll be glad when BET gets back on track.

Like your avatar.

I too agree with you. BET is screwing up Diff'rent Strokes. I don't watch the show, but I know many fans here on the board are pissed. As for ADW, what the hell is going on there? First they don't air all the episodes and when they do, it is on at 3 a.m. in the morning! What happened to the midnight airings? The show was first shown at 11 p.m. and then a few weeks later they changed it to midnight. Now, they don't air it at all at that hour, BUT!!!! they still air promos saying that ADW is airing at midnight. HOW CAN THEY BOLDLY LIE LIKE THAT? I emailed them but they never respond. BET is nothing but ASS.

Well I can't expect a HIP HOP NETWORK to air sitcoms for too long

Nothing, BET just has a audience that is into hip-hop more than sitcoms and it looks like the move to add sitcoms should have never been made.

MTV started off as an all music network and now they air more "reality" based shows than they do music. BET has aired sitcoms in the past, this isn't a new thing for them.

It just sounds to me that you're making "Hip Hop" out to be a bad thing.

If they keep PRE-EMPTING sitcoms for hip-hop programming then why even have sitcoms on the lineup???

I was in the doctor's office yesterday and was reading an article from EBONY magazine from Oct. 2007. It was a rather lengthy article on the new creative force behind BET, talking abt the new reality shows and other programming it is airing and will be airing. The age demographic that is their target is the age of 18-34. I wanted to take the magazine and post what that article said. Since I didn't take it, I can only remember the article stating basically it is only concerned with getting rid of the old stuff and bringing more "original" programming.
