Oh, ok. I knew the name sounded familiar. Wow, this is sad news. What a great actor he was. May he R.I.P. THANK U ROSCOE FOR THE MEMORIES AND THE WORK YOU LEFT BEHIND.

I was shocked. I did not even realize that he was 81 years old. I with the best for his family.

Given his very high culture accent in virtually everything I have ever seen him act in I was surprised that he was from Jersey. I would have thought that he was either British or West Indian. I guess he was heavily trained in Shakespearean acting techniques and he carried that over into everything he did. Honestly I couldn't fathom him playing some type of street hood type character.
