The poster seems to be confused between actors and characters.
I'm not confused. I was asking what the poster meant.

Yes, the late Miss Henry WAS quite fetching at that- yet they had Mrs. Bellows behave (and have Dr. Bellows react) as though she was a war-weary middle aged frump like Ethel Mertz or Doris Ziffel on "Green Acres". I suppose it made it more credible re Dr. Bellows NEVER being able to quite connect the dots re Jeannie if he didn't realize how gorgeous his own wife was. Maybe she blinded him with science like 'Miss Yakamoto' would in Thomas Dolby's video decades later.

I seen Miss Henry in an episode of The Munster's and she was very funny to watch.

Emmaline always looked great. She could make any fashions and hairstyles look terrific. A wonderful plus for the series, she was consistently excellent in portraying Amanda Bellows.

I always liked Emmaline Henry, first because she seemed like, and likely was, an extremely nice person. Second, because my last name is Henry too. But, like Gloria Henry, her last name was her stage name.

I wished they had explained her absense in I Dream of Jeannie 15 years later. They made it as though she never existed.

Since Miss Henry had died six years before that reunion movie's debut, I guess they felt it was better to not address her character at all than have to do any kind of acknowledgement of Mrs. Bellows's absence/death. Of course, it should be noted that not only was the show itself was a rather fluffy comedy rather than a drama or even a dramedy, it would have been a bit jarring to have mentioned it. Also, Dr. Bellows was an antagonist/foil to Jeanie, Tony and Roger so none of them would have had the kind of relationship to have reached out to him. I also don't recall Jeannie having been more than vaguely civil with Amanda (and vice versa). I guess it might have worked had Dr. Bellows said something along the lines of 'Amanda, I'm cracking up so much maybe it won't be too long before I can imagine seeing you here with me again!"

Really sad that Emmaline had such a short life. I'm glad people are remembering her.

I thought Jeannie and Amanda Bellows became pretty good friends in the last season.

Dr. Bellows was an antagonist/foil to Jeannie, Tony and Roger, but I still felt he was somewhat a friend to Tony. In fact, during the last season, I considered Dr. Bellows to be good friends with Tony, Jeannie and Roger. And Jeannie and Amanda become friends as well. So I definitely could see them reaching out to Dr. Bellows about his wife's death.

I thought so as well.

Dr. Bellows and Amanda Bellows became good friends with Tony, Jeannie, and Roger in the 5th season.
