Same here. I've always been skeptical of people who hate animals. Not loving them is one thing, but when people HATE CATS, it sends up a red flag for me. I always say that anyone who hates cats has never lived with one.

Personally, I was always a huge dog lover. Back in 1989, my husband and I were living in an apartment that didn't allow dogs, but did allow cats. I never had a cat growing up, just dogs. I figured, hey why not, I'll give it a try. I bought Foxy at a pet store on a Saturday afternoon, July 8, 1989. A beautiful Persian, a dead ringer for the Fancy Feast cat. Well, the joke was on me because for the next 16+ years, this furbaby took ownership of my heart, and never gave it back, even when he passed on in 1989.

I bought two Persians after that, and I love them dearly; yet I learned that just like people, animals can't be replaced.

I feel good today because Netflix delivered two top notch movies. We're getting Chinese take-out. It's cold today, 34 degrees, and a nice day to stay home, and not think about the next Wednesday, where at 2:45, I'm having an MRI in a closed machine, where I'll probably die of a heart attack from the anxiety. Today I feel good though, lol.

Here's the whole gang, Janice - Lucky, Jasmine and Molly. As much as they look alike, Jasmine and Molly aren't related at all (that we know of, anyway. ). Jazz was born in 1996 and Molly in 2002. We got Jazz from the local shelter, and Molly was a gift from my sister and brother-in-law, who got her in PA on the way from from visiting his parents in NY. Thanks for the nice comment about my dad - who is the biggest "catlover" I know!!

I love it! Those cats are the luckiest to end up in such a loving home. Amazing how much Jazz and Molly look alike, lol. Lucky is gorgeous too. Now Monika, you can deny it all you want, but I see a brown "Snuggie" on your Dad's chair. Just kidding ya!

Actually, that's just a regular blanket, but a Snuggie sounds pretty good right now.

Jazz looks big, but she's actually pretty light. Maybe 10 pounds, if that. Molly is probably about 12-13 pounds.
