![]() Without Dorothy the show wasn't the same. I think Golden Palace should have been included in the dvd releases of The Golden Girls as extras in the complete series release.

![]() I totally agree it should have been included! Dorothy did play on 2 episodes which was a 2 part episode.

Well, it wasn't the same for several reasons. But for me, it was still very much worth watching. It was fun to see the girls in an entirely new environment, and interacting with entirely new people. (Cheech Marin and Don Cheadle's characters especially) We also got to see what Charlie Nylund looked like, and learned that Blanche had another, handicapped brother. I also enjoyed seeing Rose start to stick up for herself, and bravely argue against the overbreeding of Greyhounds. I wholeheartedly agree that it should have been included in season seven's DVD, but of course it's too late for that now. I already have a rather "amateurishly" done set from a company that recorded it on a VCR. Despite that, I would spend the money to have a set done professionally. ![]() |

![]() It was totally worth watching! It has so many great episodes, more cheesecake, and more laughs! I loved seeing the girls in their new journey running a hotel. The new people they met were also funny. They still could release a Complete Series set of The Golden Girls and include a Complete Series set of The Golden Palace. I wish Betty White would notify Buena Vista Home Entertainment who put out the season sets of The Golden Girls on DVD and tell them to release The Golden Palace on DVD. If Buena Vista Home Entertainment didn't want to release The Golden Place than Shout! Factory always could. The Golden Palace has been listed on amazon.com with an option on there to be notified if there will be a release. There is also an online petition that has been out for a really long time and the show has a great fan base. Let's hope it gets released on DVD.
