"AfterMASH" ran from Sept. 1983 to Dec. 1984
During that time it was on Mondays at 9, Sundays at 8, and Tuesdays at 8 before it was cancelled.

The above is INCORRECT. While the next-to-last episode was indeed scheduled to air in the first week of December 1984, IT DID NOT AIR AT THAT TIME. Many references indicate that "AfterMASH"'s second season ended in December of 1984, but CBS put the series "on hiatus" in November of '84 then abruptly pulled the episode that was supposed to air in December and replaced it with some other program or special. TV Guide and most newspaper listings from the time will indicate that the next-to-last episode aired in December of '84, but it did not. (I know this because -- honest to goodness -- I was making audio tapes and actually taking notes on the series at the time in hopes of writing a book on the sequel series after it ended its "long" run, as was the case with "M*A*S*H"!) The final two episodes were rescheduled to air back-to-back on a Friday night in May of 1985. The next-to-last episode (in which the Klingers' baby finally gets a name) aired at 8:00 (Eastern/Pacific) that night ... but then CBS surprised the series' remaining fans by airing a CBS News special/documentary hosted by Dan Rather at 8:30. The final episode of "AfterMASH" has never been aired ... anywhere.
