Now this is epic!
Maybe Bart finds a Time Machine and hangs with Phillip J. Fry...to me that's what Bart looked like when he got older!

Where was that taken? I'll be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing The Simpsons older. I've seen some episodes where the Simpsons are older and they were pretty funny.

I thought those screenshots looked familiar. If you remember, they've done episodes where Bart and Lisa are grown up. Theres one where Lisa is President of the United States another where Prof. Frink shows Bart and Lisa grown up and going to the prom and the one where Lisa was going to get married to that British guy. If The Simpsons ever, ever tried doing episodes where they grow up, I think those shows would be funny because the ones I've mentioned above were funny.

I would have preferred and it would have made much better storylines if the children (Bart, Lisa and Maggie) to "grow up" instead of being the same age.
It could have been done gradually over time, but it would have been better. This is one reason why I basically quit watching the series several years back, it never evolved. I dunno about cartoons outside of Pebbles and Bam Bam becoming teens, but there have been several comic strips where children matured and people aged, so this would not be entirely a new concept. |

Ha ha... That's funny to think of Bart with kids!

The Simpsons without the "sliding timescale"... There are 35 photos here. If the first photo were in 1989-1990 (the year of the show's introduction), then which photo would be in the year 2011 (when the Season 23 Christmas episode aired)?
