That's scary when cancer runs in your family.

Sorry to hear that. Prayers to all of you!

Always make sure you get to the doctor for preventive measures even if you feel really well.

I was at the gym this morning and I felt a sharp pain shoot up my leg as I was using the workbench. I must have pulled something in my leg and the pain made me scream.

The pain lasted about 15 seconds and now it hurts when I put weight on my leg.

OUCH!!! Sorry to hear that. Hope it feels better soon! Try to stay off it and massage it with some ointment.

Appreciate that, Sonny. Yep, I'll hang in there...no choice, really. Like Tom Hanks said in "Castaway", "you never know what the tide will bring in."

Sorry to hear that, Jenny. I guess the best one can do is take care of yourself as much as possible and hope that overrules the genes. Try not to let it bother you too much; worrying makes things worse (I know, I'm a chronic worrier!)

Yes, thanks guys.

It has gotten better in the days since then. I still can't put my full weight on my leg w/o feeling some discomfort.
