I'm sure many of you remember the Tina Resch segment (the flying phone girl from Ohio).
Many of you probably also know she has been in prison for the past 20 years in Georgia for the death of her daughter. I am helping moderate a Facebook page to help her gain parole. Tina was not at home when her daughter suffered her fatal injuries. Tina had horrible legal counsel when all this occurred and he convinced her to plead guilty to avoid the death penalty. This is a woman who has never gotten a break in her life. Her ex-boyfriend, who was the only person with the child at the time of the injuries which killed her, has now been released from prison. He was paroled but Tina was not. Anyway, we are trying to build interest on the "Free Tina Resch" page. Currently, Tina does not have legal counsel which I think is definitely working again her. I'm not here to debate or argue or get in a back and forth. If you are interested, we certainly could use your help, even just adding "friends" to the page. Thank you for your consideration. |

I remember reading an article that said she wasn't home at the time her child was killed. If this is true, she definitely does not deserve to remain in prison (especially if her boyfriend was paroled).

I won't be joining that page. As a mother myself I think what happened is one of the most sickening things I have read about. And whether she was there are not she had to have some idea that this guy was no good. Most women that have a guy around that would rape a 3 yr old child would realize he was bad in some way even though they might if not feel like he could ever be a pedophile. To say Tina hasn't had any breaks...she's not the victiam here!! The victiam is her daughter who is now dead and never even got a chance to live!!

You are clearly not in possession of all the facts. That's the problem. You believe bits and pieces of something and then assume the rest. For you to say that the person who actually killed the child deserves less time in jail than Tina because she was the mother is absurd. She was the one who took the child to the hospital for treatment. Are you really that clueless? Go back to living in your glass house and in your perfect little world. We'll continue on here in the world of reality.

Slightly off topic, but while were talking about Tina Resch, something I always wondered about: I've heard that at least one of the strange things that happened turned out to be a hoax. Was Tina solely responsible, or were her parents involved in helping her to pull it off?

Tina said she did that once because the reporters wouldn't leave their house. Many of her "incidents" were documented by those who study such matters.
