Default Favorite One Season Wonders??

I loved Tom Arnold's first series, "The Jackie Thomas Show".

Just got it on disc and was surprised it co-starred a young Paul Feig ("Freaks & Geeks").

I kind of liked Thunder Alley, with Ed Asner and a 5-year-old Haley Joel Osment. That show aired in 1994 on ABC.

I was also a big fan of Christy (1994-95, CBS) with Kellie Martin. The show was filmed entirely on location in the Tennessee Smoky Mountains, and the costumes were terrific. You really felt like you were in 1912. There were several plots I hated, but the acting was always strong. The book by Catherine Marshall is better, though.

I too loved that show of Tom Arnold's. How did you get it on disc?

My favorite One Season Wonders are:
Whoopi and Life With Lucy.

I honestly don't know why people say Whoopi was not funny. It had me laughing and at the time it was on my Must-See-TV list.

Also, I've been watching LWL over and over the past few weeks and I really think it was a funny show. I think people just remember bad things about it because of the media at that time. It's really an amusing show.

i thought two of a kind wasn't bad, although the olsen twins did annoy me a bit. it was funny mainly because of the two adults, kevin- the girl's father and carrie. i thought they intereacted with each other rather well

i also liked the pam anderson sitcom stacked- i am still mystified as to why that was cancelled so early
