Liberals are killing this country - in the government and in the media.

I My complaint has nothing to do with the PC aspect. It’s just a poorly done commercial, political statement or whatever it’s supposed to be. I think they were trying to be subtle, but just ended up being trying. And unclear. They should just stick to selling their products instead of trying to editorialize.

And if they are DETERMINED to editorialize, I think they should have just said whatever they wanted to more succinctly and directly.

Oh No

I also believe that Gillette also was the first to start advertising for ladies razors. And this was during the 1920's when many women would drive cars, get jobs, and even vote!

Well I think it's a start. How hard for young children today whether they have two parents working all hours to make ends meet, left to play on the computer by themselves or the 15 million in poverty who may drift into crime through peer pressure and media influences. The advertisement may attempt to do too much but we can surely agree on not treating women as sex objects, belittling them at school or the workplace or rooting out the racist language they may have picked up from their parents.

This is a really stupid and pointless commercial that has absolutely nothing to do with razors.

I suppose the actors in the advertisement were comparing themselves with the male model ideal who would be advertising them. It maybe does try to cover too much ground but there was a good discussion in the studio which did elucidate a few of the messages it was trying to transmit.
