the famous scene in the opening of "PETTICOAT JUNCTION" of the 3 daughters looking over the top of the water tower while they're skinny dipping was actually a combination of 3 different shots. (sorry to ruin your fantasy guys! )

The pig that played Arnold on "GREEN ACRES" had to be replaced a few times because it would outgrow the role (pigs grow to a hieght of something like 3 feet)

That's what shocked me. She looked young enough at the time though. And hey, let's not forget "Onnnndrea" Zuckerman.

for the scene in the movie "SUPERMAN" where Lois Lane was falling off a building and he flew up and caught her, he actually looked up to catch her one night in New York then caught her a year later on a sound stage in England. (sorry to ruin your fantasy )

When they were filming the movie "MASH" the studio was also filming 2 "contemporary" war pictures at the same time-"Tora, Tora, Tora" & "Patton".

The genes for facial hair and hair loss supposedly come from strictly the mother's side.

Do you think Valerie would have had enough sassiness and attitude to pull off the role had she gotten the part?

Elizabeth II is the 32nd great-grandaughter of Alfred the Great. She's also a direct descendant of King John (Prince John of the Robin Hood stories).

Sassiness, yes. Attitude, hmm I don't know. I've never seen her play a bitchy character.

Days of Our Lives was the first soap opera to be broadcast in color when it premiered on NBC in 1965.

LOL. For a long time I didn't know that Gabrielle was that old when she play Onnndrea until a few years ago after reading an article in People.

it makes them taste better too.

the only single ever released from Deep Purple's classic "Machine Head" album - the one with iconic songs like "Smoke On the Water", "Highway Star", and "Space Truckin'" - was for a song called "Never Before", the B-side was "When a Blind Man Cries"

it really is a pretty cool song, but the single tanked on the charts so the record company figured the album was destined to be a dud.

the front of the mansion on "THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES" was really the back. They couldn't get permission to film the front.

The theme to "BONANZA" has lyrics; they were only sung once; by the Cartwrights on the first episode.

In 1960, Jackie Gleason hosted a show that was SO BAD he actually apoligized for it on the air.

Yeah, I always thought she looked just nerdy, not really older. Then I found out she was 29 when the show first started . So actually, Valerie getting the part of Brenda wouldn't have been that much of a biggie considering she was only one year older then "Onnnnnnndrea" .
