I totally believe this is the case! Before the segment was added to Amazon, I hadn't seen it in ages. I'm sure Stephen's probably now getting some unwanted attention because the segment is available for viewing again. He can't be too difficult to find when he flat-out has his own website named after him.

Right?!

He also hits upon a pet peeve of mine: Referring to himself in the third person, as if someone *else* could have written that webpage.

LooksLikeCRicci thinks this practice is not only self-serving, but tacky. LooksLikeCRicci sees criminals draft paperwork to the judges like this all the time. LooksLikeCRicci is NOT amused by said practices.

I have to stop now. LooksLikeCRicci is gettin' upset!

Although... he donates 1000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies a year? I wonder where I can go to get in on some of that sweet cookie action...

Wow. Just saw this one for the first time (that I can recall) today. Completely obvious Stephen did it (well, hired someone to do it - if he did it himself, he would go even more over the top than he did and it would be kind of obvious then).

Someone who's going to want to get away with something like this is going to want to draw as little attention/suspicion as possible. Give the perps detailed instructions to get the job done and perhaps throw the authorities off the trail, sure. Don't under any circumstances though, alter your normal routine, let alone go back and retrace your steps at every place you visited that day.

He might as well have gotten "Guilty" inked across his forehead.

Wow, a case I'm in the majority on. Must be Bizarro Day.

Stephen Geri killed his wife. Case closed. NEXT!

So this one is from my neck of the woods...
Of course I fully believe that Stephen definitely paid someone to kill his wife.

Here's an article (2001) about the Texas Rangers possibly taking over the case. To my knowledge, they didn't.

http://www.chron.com/news/houston-te...rs-2001754.php

It names "Teal Briar" as an "exclusive neighborhood" but it isn't, or at least it isn't any more. Average house is selling for about $89/sq ft which isn't 'exclusive' or 'luxury' around here. Average selling price in Teal Briar in the past few years was $240K.

(Yes, Texas real estate is cheap)

Stephen Geri is so unappealing. I am surprised he didn't look at security cameras and smile and wave. I know it has been asked before but why would he call his mother in law to tell/ask her to go over to their house? If I were planning a dinner party the last thing I would want is anyone just dropping in.

I believe the current statistics here are 99% guilty, 1% innocent.

Guy looks like Jimmy Connors these days. He just came across as incredibly cold & egotistical on that segment. Did we ever find out who asked for the settlement? It said it would be sealed for two years, still odd the family would accept if he proposed it-but perhaps with the lack of evidence/chance of prosecution they thought it better he didn't get everything.

Isn't his fault that somebody interrupted his family unit in 1986 with multiple guns.

On the small chance that Stephen is innocent, he does bring up a decent point in the segment about the lawsuit: if Marilu's parents truly thought he killed their daughter, why would they settle the suit which pretty much quelled any chance they had of nailing him with a civil suit (a la OJ) showing that he was responsible for her murder? Settling the suit basically cleared Stephen from any civil action, even if more information and evidence came out which cast even more suspicion his way.

Was a neighbor, he did it. There’s a reason one neighbor moved in the middle of the night, afraid of him if they talk.

Welcome and thanks for the post!

I think it's pretty obvious that Stephen is as guilty as they come. I'd love to see him behind bars one day...

It looks like since today's the 31st anniversary, they've decided to re-open the investigation:
https://www.houstonchronicle.com/new...a-chron-result

I expect Stephen Geri to respond by writing more material for his website about how great he is.
