I was hoping that some of you might remember this British kids show of the 70's. It was shown on PBS stations for a while, and I got to be a huge fan of it.
There was very little dialogue on it, and what dialogue there was was also signed for the death. There was a girl who served as the hostess. There was an older guy who was an artist. And there were two guys who were comidians. There were studio bits as well as pre-taped stuff and animations. Each episode had a theme relating to a shape--circle, square, etc. The music was very cool, and there was even some heavy rock! And I believe that a future Dr Who was involved with it. (Colin Baker, I think it was.) Sadly, so far as I know, this has never appeared on VHS or DVD either here, or in England! |

I remember seeing it on Pittsburgh's NBC station in 1973 on Sunday mornings. It used Al Hirt's "Java" as the closing theme IIRC.

It was one of my lost shows from my youth. I spent most of my life trying to get the title of the show, and it was only a few years ago, that I got an answer. I watched it on Sundays on KOMO Seattle, I think it was on before The Prisoner.
