Ethel's Birthday ep. is on I Love Lucy!! Reminds me of Anna! I know this one is one of her favorite eps.

Here's the Hostess pants that you would wear to a smart dinner party!!

Hilarious!! And I will ALWAYS think of Anna when I see this ep.!!

Lucy: They're hostess pants. You wear 'em when you give smart dinner parties.
Ethel: Oh, I was wondering what to wear at all those smart dinner parties I give.

Lucy: Well, I saw 'em last month in Harper's Bazaar.

Ethel: Well, they're certainly bizarre!

Lucy: Well, now, wait a minute, Ethel! Look- you get yourself a little black, off-the-shoulder blouse and a big crushy belt and little ballet slippers, and you're all set!

Ethel: What for? Halloween?

Ethel: I'd like to meet the idiot who talked [Fred] into these [ugly hostess pants]!
Lucy: How do you do?

Ethel: I wanted a toaster!
Lucy: Well, Fred told me that, but I couldn't believe anyone could be that DULL!

Ethel: Look, I'd look better wearing a toaster than I would these checkerboard britches!

I still have my MCA Home Video VHS pre-record on this - along with the other 9 1950's Scifi/Horror films they released/re-released in that batch back in the mid-1990's.

Should've recorded it with the extra Sven shtick, plus this was a remastered HQ print, as well as next week's BRIDES OF DRACULA is (I think) a high-definition print. Tarantula looked great on Sven's show.

Sven!!! Did you check out that video I posted of James Taylor singing with Jackson Browne? I know you are a big James Taylor fan! They were singing The Eagles "Take it easy"! (Jackson Browne co wrote this song with Glen Frey from the Eagles)!
