Just saw this case on Amazon,my first thought is the reason the girls were not killed with the parents is someone(Ie either someone the dad knew from the drug trade or someone with the local sheriffs) sold them off into sexual slavery.

The drug angle makes the most sense.

There's no way the girls would have killed the parents and then left all the money in the purse and the car behind, and then still be out there after all these years.

Maybe sex slavery, but I think it's more likely that they were just raped and killed after the fire by whoever committed the murders and were dumped somewhere.

Just watched this again today and got me wondering. Could they possible have missed the girls bodies? I mean they missed Danny Freeman's and he was not very far down. If the girls were buried under the ruble maybe they were missed too. There obviously wasn't a very thorough search done.

They'd have surfaced by now in that spot if that was the case though.

Iíve often wondered about that myself. If the remaining debris was not searched thoroughly after finding the dadís body, it is theoretically possible. Although I would hope that after missing a body the first time they would be in there on their hands and knees sitting through with slotted spoons and lint rollers searching for anything else, but who knows?

If the girls bodies were missed it is also possible that the remaining debris was just bulldozed and/or shoveled up and hauled off to a land fill. In which case we might never know.

However, my theory has been it was probably connected to the drugs. Money was owed so the parents were killed and the daughters taken as some sick form of payment.

Whatever happened though, I sure hope it was over quick for the girls and they didnít have to suffer too much. Very sad case all around.
