1 more film and I'll have met the minimum requirement to complete the challenge. There's people doing the challenge that have over double of the amount I watched. As much as I love movies I can't watch that many in a month. I would get burned out.

So far: 37 movies. 27 were first time watches.

I hear ya. Nobody loves horror films more than I do (well, you, JamesG, and my girlfriend come close, LOL) but who has the time to watch THAT many films? Maybe if I'm ever lucky enough to be able to retire...till then, I'll just do what I can, when I can.

Long live the horror fans!

Yeah, some were averaging like 4 movies a day, some said they would watch a movie before work, then binge when they got home.

The amount I've done this month is more than I normally do. Plus I usually like to watch other genres.

The forum I'm doing the challeng on is now getting prepared for the November Turkey Challenge- movies of any genre, going by IMDB ratings, anything under a 5.0 rating will get you points, the lower the movie's score, the higher your points, I think it said movies with a 1.9 or lower is 6 points.

Think I'll pass though, after I finish this challenge tomorrow, I want to go back to my normal movie viewing habits.

Challenge complete!

39 movies!

28 First Time Views.
I had planned on watching only movies I hadn't seen before, but sometimes my movie watching depends on my mood, and some films I just wanted to watch again.

Though I didn't get to see all of the movies I wanted, like the list of posters on the other page, I will get to them eventually.

My 5 favorite of the first time views:

Gerald's Game (2017)
They Have Changed Their Face (1971)
Happy Hunting (2017)
It Stains The Sands Red (2016)
The Appointment (1981)

Worst first time views:

Mama Dracula (1980)
Sleepy Hollow High (2000)
Halloween Tales (2017)
The Final Project (2016)
Unwanted (2016)

Re watching The Territory (1981) for the second time was a treat, a truly creepy slow burn horror film. Sad the film isn't more well known.

A fun memorable time was seeing the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Poltergeist at the theater with my daughter. Both films were a great audience experience.

Of course getting to see It (2017) again at the theater.

And not to mention re watching The Greasy Strangler. Seriously a one of a kind movie. It exists in its own universe. From the dialogue to the wardrobe.
