It's a risky schedule but of the 3 networks so far. I think this one is the best. I hope it doesn't kill revenge though but it does give it a chance to expand it's audience. Of the new shows I'l probably give Nashville, 666 Park Avenue, Malibu Country & The Neighbors a chance,

Kimmel killed it again at upfront! Recap soon. Some cool notes: Mistresses comes to Mondays with The Bachelor franchise in mid-season, likely May.

Trailers of all 10 news shows from Upfront:

http://disneyabcvideo.com/abcNewShows12_13.html

Some great applause for most at upfront. The Neighbors is silly but looks very funny. Will see all 10 pilots soon.

I'm glad to see The Middle and Modern Family return for another season at 8 and 9. Of course if I was ABC I would do this for a Wednesday comedy block:

8pm The Middle
8:30pm Last Man Standing
9pm Modern Family
9:30pm Malibu Country

In the end ABC made a good decision with Friday nights. It is nice to see networks trying with Friday nights again though.

Don't think that is a good idea, tbswatcher. Last Man and Malibu paired together is a great match. They are not the same tone as the Wednesday family comedies.

Would that not make it a summer series for 2013 if it premieres next May?

It is a little contradicting what they said. On the press call, they said May. At upfront they said with The Bachelor in mid-season. So all I got out of it for sure is...Mondays at 10. But after The Bachelor or Bachelorette?

All of those new comedies look awful. No wonder ABC was supposedly not very interested in their comedy pilots this year. I don't see The Neighbors lasting to mid-season and Family Tools/How to Live With Your Parents... are going to be forced to survive on their own and don't look interesting enough to do so. Malibu County looks like a good fit with Last Man Standing though, that's the only one I can see being a hit. Good thing ABC has strong returning comedies...

I think ABC has some Good Pilots this year, 7 out of 10 of them seem pretty Good and interesting! I can not wait to watch a lot of them including How to live with Parents and Malibu County. One thing I notice about the Four networks is that they did not pick up a lot of New sitcoms Pilots/Shows this year and are mostly relying on their more current(From the 2011-2012 Season) ones instead which I think is smart in the short term(1-2 seasons) but in the Long Run you are going to have to get some New fresher Sitcoms on the Schedule eventually.

The new dramas look great in the clips but the comedies... not so much. Especially The Neighbors, yuck. I can't imagine that the Judy Greer or Mandy Moore pilots were worse than that.

Also I liked the leaked schedule much more than the actual schedule. They really should have put Nashville (or at least a new show) after Dancing with the Stars (Mon) especially with NBC choosing not to put Smash there and it being an all star edition of DWTS that should do better than this spring. Missed opportunity there.

That's true for ABC and CBS but not with FOX and NBC. FOX has 3 new comedy pilots and NBC has 7. The networks are clearly going lighter on dramas because comedy has re-surged as the dominant genre but NBC still has 4 or 5 I believe and ABC has 4.

I think that's why ABC didn't do it. Revolutuion sounds like NBC's best show and ABC probably figures it's better to have a show like Castle ( with it's own fans) compete against it then something new.

The Neighbors clip was beyond words. THAT was the best sitcom pilot ABC had?
