Default Video Editing

My daddy's favorite Christmas movie is The Gathering and the only way to watch it is on VHS. Well, ours is broken and I am trying to make my daddy a copy of the movie on DVD. I already have the movie on my computer, but the actual movie is a bit slow for the sound. Does anyone know any good video editing programs that I could download for free? I have tried using windows movie maker, but that doesn't allow me to only speed up the video a little bit. It only lets you go from one extreme to the other.

Sorry to say I don't know a whole lot about video editing, but I did want to say that your dad was really good taste. "The Gathering" is a wonderful movie; I remember watching it when I was very young, and loving it.

Yes, I agree, it is a pretty good movie. I think its more of a sentimetal thing too. My daddy used to watch it with his daddy and I have been watching it every year with my daddy since I was like six. This is going to be one of the last years that I'm home so I definitely want to get this finished by Thanksgiving.

And yes AKA! I'm surprised you found a DVD format. I have been taking the store to store type route. I don't have a credit card so I'm not able to order online without my daddy knowing. Plus, I'm also half way through making the copy. But thank you though for finding it. I might need that if this copy doesn't work out.

My pleasure. Yeah, it's only available via the WB Store. One of those "DVD on demand" titles. I hope it all works out!
