Thumbs up I got accepted to vet school!

Ok, first off I gotta say, dang you guys were busy this weekend! I stop posting for 3 days and you all go hog wild! It took me 3 hours to catch up! sheesh!

Anyhoo, this Saturday, I got my acceptance letter from the college of veterinary medicine. So come this fall I shall be going there.

Which also means I graduate this quarter with a bachelor's degree in sociology! Less than 2 months and I'll be a college graduate...weird....

Sadly, it means I will probably be coming here less often, since I will no longer have my beloved cable modem , and I will probably be studying too much!

However, that's a long ways off and you're not getting rid of me 'til I absolutely have to go!

All I gotta say is thank god I got in, because I think going to graduate school with sociology would have put me in an early grave (there's only so long that I can study all the social problems in the world, and know that there's very little I can do to change them.)

Watch your thoughts; they become your words. Watch your words; they become your actions. Watch your actions; they become your habits. Watch your habits; they become your character. Watch your character for it will become your destiny. - unknown

Default Congrats!

Congratulations! That's really something to be proud of. My little sister wants to apply for vet school, so I know how hard it can be. As a matter of curiosity, where are you going? Near home or far away? Well, good luck!

Talking yay!

yay! congrats!!!!!!!!!
.:*[K][E][R][R][ I]*:.

So if you care to find me, look to the western sky. As someone told me lately; 'Everyone deserves the chance to fly', and if I'm flying solo, at least I'm flying free. To all those who'd ground me, take a message back from me: Tell them how I'm defying gravity. I'm flying high, defying gravity

insanity is like heaven

Sophia: (to Blanche) Fasten your seatbelt, slut puppie. This ain't gunna be no cakewalk.

Blanche: I don't really mind Clayton being homosexual, I just don't like him dating men.
Dorothy: You really haven't grasped the concept of this gay thing yet, have you?
Blanche: There must be homosexuals who date women.
Sophia: Yeah, they're called lesbians.

The people who think they know everything about Broadway make me laugh. They've never seen a Broadway play in their life.
"oh mi godddd RENT's a mooovie! lyke 525600 minuuuuuuutes!" No.

To be a Broadway Freak, you must live, eat, sleep, study, devout, think, obsess, dream, believe Broadway.
You must know original & revival casts, soundtracks, performance runs, dates, theatres, numbers, how many Tony Awards A Chorus Line won.
You must be Broadway.
That's right bitches. I AM Broadway.

lol, yes and no....I have gotten significantly better at handling them, but they are still quite cantankerous sometimes. Of course I've had a harder time trying to handle feral cats, so it's all relative. I have had horses step on my feet a few times, it's a miracle they didn't break my toes....I was thinking about buying steel-toed boots but I doubt they make them in my size since my feet are so small!

Anyhoo, as for all the people wondering where I got in to, I'd rather not just come out and say it, however, it is close to home (about 1.5 hours away), it is in my state of residence (thank god, in-state tuition is high enough!), it is in the midwest, and it is at the same university I am getting my undergrad degree from. Now, those who have been paying attention should be able to figure out where that is, because I have dropped hints before about where I go.....

Anyhoo.....I have to get a rabies vaccination too.....I think it's like a series of three shots or something! Thank goodness I'm not too scared of needles!
